There is no loss of effort in this world, and no harm can come from following the right path. Even a little effort made on this path can protect you from great danger.
Lesson:
In this verse, Lord Krishna reassures Arjuna that no effort made on the path of righteousness goes to waste. He emphasizes that there is no downside or loss in following the path of duty and righteousness. Even a small step taken in the right direction can lead to significant benefits and protect one from immense danger.
Imagine a journey through a dark forest. Every step you take brings you closer to safety, even if it's just a small step. Similarly, every action taken in accordance with one's duty and righteousness leads to positive outcomes and shields the individual from the perils of life.
Lord Krishna encourages Arjuna, and by extension, all of us, to stay persistent on the path of righteousness, regardless of the challenges or difficulties encountered along the way. This verse instils confidence and motivates individuals to persevere in their efforts to lead a righteous life, knowing that every action in line with duty and righteousness contributes to their well-being and protection.
