VERSE

7

यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत।
अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम् || 4.7 ||

Yadā yadā hi dharmasya glānirbhavati bhārata।
Abhyutthānamadharmasya tadātmānaṁ sṛjāmyaham।।

Whenever there is a decline in righteousness and an increase in unrighteousness, O Arjuna, at that time I manifest Myself.

Lesson:

This verse from the Bhagavad Gita teaches us about the concept of divine intervention. It says that whenever there is a decline in righteousness and an increase in unrighteousness, God manifests Himself to restore balance and uphold righteousness.

In simpler terms, the verse is saying that when there is a rise in wrongdoing and a decline in moral values, God appears in various forms to set things right. This divine intervention can take many forms, such as incarnations or messengers, and it happens to restore harmony and righteousness in the world.

The verse reminds us that even in times of darkness and moral decline, we are not alone. God is always watching over us, ready to intervene when needed to bring about positive change and uphold justice.

It's a comforting message that assures us of divine support and guidance, especially during challenging times when it may seem like righteousness is losing ground to unrighteousness.
