Alan Thicke was a Canadian actor, songwriter, and television host. He gained fame for his role as Jason Seaver on the hit TV show "Growing Pains," which ran from 1985 to 1992. Thicke's career also included work as a talk show host and a prolific composer of television theme songs, including the famous theme for "Diff'rent Strokes" and "The Facts of Life." His charm and talent made him a beloved figure in both Canadian and American television.
