Amanullah Khan was an Afghani statesman who served as the King of Afghanistan from 1919 to 1929. He is remembered for his efforts to modernize Afghanistan and for his role in the Third Anglo-Afghan War, which led to the country gaining full independence from British influence. Despite facing resistance and eventual exile, Amanullah Khan's attempts to reform and modernize Afghanistan left a lasting impact on the nation's history.
