Aron Ralston is an American mountaineer and motivational speaker who gained fame for his harrowing survival story. In 2003, Ralston was trapped by a boulder while hiking in Utah and had to amputate his own arm to escape. His story of courage and determination was recounted in his memoir, "Between a Rock and a Hard Place," and the film "127 Hours." Ralston's experience has inspired many with his resilience and spirit.
