Cesar Chavez, a Mexican-American labor leader and civil rights activist, co-founded the United Farm Workers union, advocating for the rights of migrant farmworkers. Through nonviolent protests and grassroots organizing, he fought tirelessly for fair wages, better working conditions, and social justice for farmworkers across America.
