Charles W. Colson was an American lawyer and political advisor who served as a special advisor to President Richard Nixon. He is best known for his role in the Watergate scandal, which led to his imprisonment. After serving time in prison, Colson experienced a religious conversion and became a prominent evangelical Christian leader, founding Prison Fellowship Ministries to advocate for criminal justice reform and prisoner rehabilitation.
