Cole Younger was an American outlaw and member of the James-Younger Gang, notorious for their bank and train robberies in the late 19th century. After serving time in prison, Younger became a symbol of the Wild West era. His life story of crime and eventual redemption continues to fascinate and is part of American folklore.
