Compay Segundo was a Cuban musician and songwriter, best known for his work with the Buena Vista Social Club. His distinctive voice and mastery of the tres guitar contributed to the revival of traditional Cuban music. Segundo's music, marked by its rich rhythms and melodies, gained international acclaim and brought Cuban music to a global audience.
