Haldan Keffer Hartline was an American scientist known for his research in neurophysiology and visual perception. His work on the physiology of the nervous system contributed to the understanding of how the brain processes visual information. Hartline's contributions to science were recognized with a Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
