Henri La Fontaine was a Belgian lawyer and pacifist who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1913 for his efforts in promoting international peace and cooperation. His work included advocacy for arbitration and the establishment of international institutions to resolve conflicts. La Fontaine's contributions to the peace movement and his dedication to diplomacy have made him a significant figure in the history of international relations.
