Jean Claude Duvalier, also known as "Baby Doc," was the President of Haiti from 1971 to 1986. He succeeded his father, Franois Duvalier, and continued his father's authoritarian regime. His rule was marked by corruption, human rights abuses, and economic mismanagement. In 1986, facing a popular uprising, he fled Haiti and lived in exile until his death. Duvalier's legacy is largely associated with the oppressive nature of his regime and its impact on Haiti.
