Jean Claude Duvalier, also known as "Baby Doc," was the President of Haiti from 1971 to 1986. He succeeded his father, Fran�ois Duvalier, and continued his father's authoritarian regime. His rule was marked by corruption, human rights abuses, and economic mismanagement. In 1986, facing a popular uprising, he fled Haiti and lived in exile until his death. Duvalier's legacy is largely associated with the oppressive nature of his regime and its impact on Haiti.
