Kristin Hersh is an American musician and author born on August 17, 1966. She is known as the lead singer and songwriter of the alternative rock band Throwing Muses. Hersh's music often explores personal and emotional themes, earning her critical acclaim. In addition to her music career, she has written books about her experiences as a musician. Kristin continues to create music and inspire audiences with her artistry.
