Lin Biao was a Chinese politician born on December 5, 1907. He was a prominent military leader and served as the Vice Chairman of the Communist Party of China. Lin played a significant role during the Cultural Revolution and was considered a close ally of Mao Zedong. However, his political career ended abruptly when he died in a plane crash under controversial circumstances in 1971. Lin Biao's legacy is complex, reflecting the tumultuous history of China during his time.
