Margot Fonteyn was an English ballerina regarded as one of the greatest classical ballet dancers of all time. Her career with The Royal Ballet spanned over four decades, during which she became the company's prima ballerina assoluta. Fonteyn was celebrated for her technical precision, grace, and dramatic interpretation, particularly in roles such as Aurora in "The Sleeping Beauty" and Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet."
