Maxwell Anderson was an American playwright and journalist known for his thought-provoking and socially relevant plays. His works, including "Winterset" and "Key Largo," often explored themes of human struggle and morality. Anderson's contributions to American theater earned him several Pulitzer Prizes and established him as a prominent playwright of the 20th century.
