Neville Marriner was an English conductor and violinist renowned for his work with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. His interpretations of classical music, particularly Baroque and Classical periods, have been highly regarded. Marriner's extensive career included recordings and performances that contributed significantly to the classical music landscape.
