Ruben Blades is a Panamanian musician, actor, and activist born on July 16, 1949. He is known for his contributions to salsa music, blending traditional rhythms with socially conscious lyrics. Blades has released numerous albums and is recognized for hits like "Pedro Navaja." In addition to his music career, he has acted in films and television, earning acclaim for his performances. Ruben Blades is also involved in political and social issues, advocating for change in his community.
