Saint Aurelius Augustine was a Roman theologian born on November 13, 354. He is known for his influential writings on Christian philosophy and theology, including Confessions and The City of God. Augustine's thoughts on faith, grace, and free will have had a profound impact on Christian doctrine and Western philosophy. He is regarded as one of the most important figures in the history of Christianity and was canonized as a saint. Augustine passed away on August 28, 430.
