Sally Rand was an American actress and dancer born on April 3, 1904. She is best known for her performances as a fan dancer during the 1920s and for her role in the film The Wizard of Oz. Rand became a popular figure in vaudeville and is remembered for her unique style and contributions to entertainment. She passed away on August 31, 1979, leaving behind a legacy in the world of performance art.
