Sidney Hillman was a prominent American labor leader and social activist who played a key role in the labor movement of the early 20th century. As the founder of the Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO) and president of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America, Hillman fought tirelessly for workers' rights, fair wages, and social justice. His legacy as a champion of the working class continues to inspire labor activists and advocates for economic equality to this day.
