Susan Smith is an American criminal born on September 26, 1971. She gained national attention in 1994 when she reported her two children missing, claiming they were abducted by a carjacker. After an extensive investigation, it was revealed that she had drowned her children. Smith was convicted of their murders and sentenced to life in prison. Her case sparked widespread media coverage and discussions about mental health and parenting.
