Todd Gitlin, an American sociologist and author, is known for his scholarship on media, politics, and social movements. From his seminal work "The Whole World is Watching" to his commentary on contemporary politics and culture, Gitlin's insights into the dynamics of protest and social change have made him a respected voice in academia and public discourse.
