Tyne Daly is an American actress born on February 21, 1946. She is best known for her role as Mary Beth Lacey on the television series Cagney & Lacey, for which she won several Emmy Awards. Daly's talent and versatility have allowed her to portray a wide range of characters in both television and film. She has also had a successful career on stage, appearing in various Broadway productions.
