Vittorio Alfieri was an Italian dramatist born on January 16, 1749. He is best known for his plays that contributed to the development of Italian theater in the 18th century. Alfieri's works often explored themes of love, politics, and the human condition. He is considered one of the founders of modern Italian drama and is remembered for his passionate writing style and deep emotional expression. He passed away on October 8, 1803, leaving a lasting legacy in literature.
