William Mulholland was an Irish scientist and engineer born on September 11, 1855. He is best known for his role in developing the water supply system for Los Angeles, which transformed the city and supported its rapid growth. Mulholland's engineering expertise and vision helped shape the infrastructure of Southern California. He is remembered as a significant figure in the history of engineering and urban development.
