William Brewster was an American Pilgrim leader born in 1566. He is best known for his role in the establishment of the Plymouth Colony in 1620. Brewster was a key figure in the Pilgrims' journey to America and served as a spiritual leader for the community. His contributions to early American history have made him a respected figure in the story of the nation's founding.
